We are pleased to formally introduce Vanguard Automotive Design! Who we are, what we’re about, and of course, our new facility. Chris and his team specialize in high-end audio and fabrication as well as radar/laser countermeasures, lighting, upholstery, custom interior and exterior options, along with all of its relevant fabrication. We are a small, tight-knit team taking our builds seriously, but we are also a family and enjoy coming to work every day so much that work doesn’t feel like work but a passion.
Chris Gliemann – Chris is the one who moves in silence. After almost 20 years of working in the 12-Volt and Automotive industries, including stints at some of the best shops worldwide, Chris also decided to make the move to being an owner/operator. In 2019, Chris formed Epic Auto Wurx, where he specialized in Radar & Laser Countermeasures, custom mobile electronics, audio, and custom interior/exterior fabrication. Essentially, if it involves a vehicle of some sort, Chris can do it and do it to the highest level. While being the sole employee of his own company for most of its time, Chris handled a private client list. He did ZERO advertising. All of his work is generated through word of mouth. Chris’s decades of experience in the bay, managing teams, and turning his clients dreams into a reality. Chris is the shop manager, overseeing all employees and day to day operations on the shop/install floor.
James Agostino – James, our current inhouse Certified Xpel-PPF installer, detailer, and car audio specialist. James is a well-rounded asset to the company. He’s not afraid to try anything new big or small, as well jump right in feet first and tackle any project. He has grown from apprentice (working with Chris 24/7) to now a seasoned starting player. Whether it’s Audio, PPF, Detailing, General Automotive Repair, James has the skillset to make it right and succeed with any of our clients’ projects. With a bright future ahead him, skies the limit.
Julio Cabarcas – Julio walks in a seasoned electronics installer as well an automotive care specialist. Julio has years of experience working at other shops in the region doing car audio, general electronics, detailing, and ceramic coating. A bit shy at first, but as the saying goes “be aware of the quiet ones” he’s here to get things done and keep all of our clients happy turning their dreams into realities.
Now, onto the shop. Please note this sight is constantly evolving and we are still planning on adding things to the office, lobby, install bay, storage area, and fabrication room, but is any project truly ever finished? Here are a few shots of the current setup! Often imitated but never duplicated. There are many other shops/competitors trying to look like us, act like us, even using our pictures. Some leave fake bad reviews; others redirect our traffic and repost our reviews. Don’t believe the hype or the drama online. Come in and check us out for yourself!
